Social Welfare & Rural Development Society (SWRDS) is a non-profitable and non-religious registered voluntary organization in Village- Konnagar, P.O- Ghatal, District- Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. We are here to make a change in society and the lives of poor, deprived and backward class people of remote and rural areas of India.
One of the main reasons for poverty is illiteracy. SWRDS tries to educate this section of people through our education-based program and create awareness of various social injustice and prejudices. We believe that the development of a society can happen only when people will be aware of their rights, integrities, and liberties. From SWRDS, it’s our utmost to try to bring sustainable development of this society of these people. The constant endeavor of SWRDS is to make our place more lively and live-worthy.
Social Welfare & Rural Development Society (SWRDS) is registered with Registrar of Societies and the type of NGO is Registered Societies (Non-Government) and the Registration Number is S/58581 of 1988-89. The city and state of registration are Ghatal and West Bengal. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is WB/2009/0003488. The organization is affiliated to the Nehru Yuba Kendra, Paschim Medinipur district. The organization is also registered with the Income-tax u/s 80 G of u/s 12 A. SWRDS has an FCRA certificate to get foreign contributions.
