Social Welfare & Rural Development Society (SWRDS) is a 33-year-old organization working for poor and rural people of Ghatal, West Medinipur. We have stretched our wings in varied sectors of Games and Sports. Here are some of the initiatives we have taken as an NGO.
Distribution Of Materials To Local Clubs
To make youths more active and spirited the organization helped different clubs by giving materials like footballs, cricket sets, and carroms free of cost to local youths. The money thus needed was borne by the organization.
Child Welfare
To help the poor children in their physical and mental growth and to have some sort of entertainment and formation of a sympathetic attitude to society, the organization usually arranged some sports competitions. These programs are specially designed for local children and after that program prizes are distributed among them.
Organising Competition
The organization helped different clubs to organize a competition on Football Matches and Cricket Matches among themselves. From our NGO, we provide financial help through cash and kinds.
